  1. PLANNING APPEAL

The Clerk reported that an appeal had been lodged against the refusal of planning permission in respect of CH/18/354 [Retention of hard surface area and proposed stable block], Land off Colliery Road.

RESOLVED

That the Clerk send a copy of the Parish Council’s strong objection to this planning application with the following additional comments:-

“The Parish Council are becoming increasingly concerned with regard to the wilful contravention of planning law which continues to be flouted.  This site is within the Green Belt and the AONB [the smallest in main land Britain] and because of the small size of the AONB and also being near to a conurbation, it is susceptible to unlawful development of this type.”
