Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill Park, Brereton, on Tuesday, 4th June 2019.
Present
Councillors TA Jones [Chairman], J Harvey and GN Molineux.
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors PA Fisher, Mrs W Fisher and DR Johnson.
Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.

RESOLVED
That the minutes of the meeting held on 14th May 2019, be approved and signed as a correct record.

The Committee noted the following planning decisions received from the District Council:-

- That no comments be made on the following planning applications:-

Outline planning application
Rugeley Power Station, Power Station Road for the creation of development platform and the demolition of existing office building and environmental centre, site clearance, remediation and mixed-use development of land at the former Rugeley Power Station comprising: up to 2,300 new dwellings [Use Class C3], up to 1.2ha of mixed-use [Use Class A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, C1, C2, C3, D1 and D2] up to 5ha of employment [Use Classes B1, B2 B8], 1 No. 2 form entry primary school [Use Class D1], formal and informal Publicly Accessible Open Space, key infrastructure including new adoptable roads within the site and the provision of a new primary access junction on to the A513, ground mounted solar panels and 2 No. existing electricity substations [132 kV and 400 kV] retained.
- PLANNING APPEAL
The Committee noted that an appeal had been lodged against the refusal of planning permission in respect of the following-
CH/19/026
Proposed residential development of one [1 bed] bungalow on land to rear of 2 Larch Road.
The Parish Council’s objection to the planning application had already been forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate by the District Council.
RESOLVED
That the Clerk send a copy of this Council’s response direct to the Planning Inspectorate informing them that having considered the matter again, the Parish Council re-affirm its strong objection to the proposed development.
