Minutes of a meeting of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill Park, Brereton, on Tuesday, 14th May 2019.
Present
Councillors TA Jones [Chairman], PA Fisher, Mrs W Fisher, JC Harvey, DR Johnson and
GN Molineux.
Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.
- APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN
RESOLVED
That Councillor TA Jones be appointed Chairman for the ensuing year.
- DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
There were no declarations given at the commencement of the meeting.
- APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHAIRMAN
RESOLVED
That Councillor PA Fisher be appointed Vice-Chairman for the ensuing year.

That the minutes of the meeting held on 2nd April 2019, be approved and signed as a correct record.
- PLANNING DECISIONS
The Committee noted the following planning decisions received from the District Council

Proposed storage shed to rear garden

- PLANNING APPLICATION
RESOLVED
That the following comment be submitted to the District Council on the planning application listed below:-
CH/19/162
Proposed single storey side extension and replacement garage
20 Abbots Walk.
No objection subject to the inclusion of a condition to prevent construction works, deliveries and collection of materials during nights, Bank and Public Holidays, Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
- LICHFIELD DISTRICT COUNCIL – LOCAL PLAN ALLOCATIONS EXAMINATION REPORT
The Committee noted that this Report was available to view on Lichfield District Council’s website up to 31st May 2019.
The Chairman indicated that there were no proposals for allocating land for development near the boundary with Brereton and Ravenhill.
- CANNOCK CHASE DISTRICT COUNCIL – LOCAL PLAN: ISSUES AND OPTIONS CONSULTATION
The Clerk reported that the following documents were out for consultation until 8th July 2019:-
- Cannock Chase Local Plan Issues and Options Document
- Sustainability Appraisal Report and Habitat Regulations Assessment Scoping Report
- Infrastructure Delivery Plan
- Local Plan updated evidence base
Members noted details of various ‘drop in’ events being held in both Brereton and Ravenhill and Rugeley.
The Committee was pleased to note that an Officer from the Local Plans Team at the District Council would be attending the next Parish Council meeting to give a short presentation on the proposals and answer questions from Members.
